2018 Toyota Camry Features
Progress in security and connectivity is the main highlight. Toyota Safety Sense-P (TSS-P) is included in every 2018 Camry. This is an enhanced version of a set of similar drivers that help the previous selections only on XLE and XSE models. TSS-P includes radar-based adaptive cruise control, automatic high-beam spotlights, and lane-departure warning with automatic steering correction.
The most prominent TSS-P components are autonomous emergency braking that can alert the driver, then slow down or even stop the Camry to reduce frontal collisions with other vehicles or pedestrians. This capability allows every 2018 Camry to achieve the Top Safety Pick + coveted rank of the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety. Test results for the 2018 model are not available in time for this review, but the 2017 Camcorder with TSS-P is the Top Safety Pick + winner. Standard cross-blind and cross-traffic detection on XSE and XLE models and $ 600 option for all other Camrys.
All ’18 Camrys come with touch screen infotainment dashboard. It’s 7 inches in diameter on most models, and the V-6 XSE and XLE models are 8 inches and LE and higher with upgraded audio systems. Part of its function is to display a standard backup spy camera, which includes a projected path guide. The Driver Assist package adds a view of the first Camry bird’s surround car and also includes a head-up display projecting key instrumentation to the windshield before the driver. This package is optional on XSE and XLE models, with an expensive price of $ 1,675 for the four-cylinder version. It costs $ 1,050 for V-6 and XLE Hybrid because this standard comes with a head-up display.
Connectivity increases with the latest Entune 3.0 multimedia system from the automaker as standard on every Camry. It supports several new smartphone-based technologies in the car, including available long distance engines, vehicle unlocking and search, fuel level readings, and guest guides. It also offers WiFi Connect available, which allows up to five mobile devices connected using 4G LTE. Entune 3.0 also includes smartphone-based navigation projected on dashboard screens via Connect Navigation Scout GPS Link with Moving Maps. For integrated navigation that can provide real-time GPS services with no cell signal, you need an enhanced 3.0 system. Toyota calls this Dynamic Navigation and this is a $ 940 option available only on V-6 XSE and V-6 XLE.
The Qi wireless charging system for compatible smartphones is standard on the V-6 XSE and V-6 XLE, which also has a premium JBL audio system. Qi is included in the Audio Packages available in all other Camrys except L models. Options include an 8-inch dashboard display, satellite radio and related upgrades – though not a JBL system. It costs $ 1,255 in SE, $ 1,455 on LE, and $ 1,800 on XSE and XLE. On Hybrids, the Audio Package costs $ 1,050 for LE and SE and $ 1,800 for XLE, which includes a JBL stereo.

2018 Toyota Camry Price
Although it had shrunk, Toyota believes the 2018 Camry increase justifies the higher price. Average increase of 6.8 percent for four-cylinder models, 10.3 percent for V-6, and 5.5 percent for Hybrids. The biggest one is a $ 3,600 spike with starting price of the most expensive model, the XSE V-6. All base prices in this review include the $ 895 auto destination cost (note that fees may vary by region as some areas of the U.S. are serviced by independent Toyota distributors).
Camry L 2018 starts at $ 24,390, includes standard features already mentioned, and is not available with options.
The ’18 LE model is priced from $ 24,895 and replaces the L-16 inch steel wheels with a 17-inch alloy and, in addition to the above-mentioned electric driver’s seat and rear-back / rear mounted backs, adds standard features such as anti-theft systems.
The base price for 2918 Camry SE is $ 26,095. In addition to the tweaks of black-themed styling, SofTex coatings, and the previously mentioned automatic climate controls, it includes a rear spoiler with color lock, chrome exhaust tip, and cluster gauge display with readings for outside temperatures and a number of fuel savings. data, such as distance-to-empty
With a four-cylinder engine, XLE starts at $ 29,345 and XSE at $ 29,895. XLE is built on LE with standard features that include automatic headlamps, 18 inch chrome alloy wheels, and wood trim and imitation wood trim. The XSE expands on the SE with 19-inch wheels as well as quad chrome exhaust tips. XLE and XSE four cylinders also have automatic two-zone climate controls, heated front seats, passenger power seats, adjustable rear headrests, remote keyless entries with pushbuttons, and automatic shutdown mirrors.
With the V-6, the 2018 Camry XL starts at $ 35,295 and XSE from $ 35,845. The V-6 model mostly reflects the equipment of their four cylinders, but adds the exterior like a head-up screen, a more complex multi-information display, and lumbar power adjustment for the front passenger seat. They also come with a panoramic moonroof, which is a $ 1,045 option on their four-cylinder counterpart.
Among the important choices, the standard-sized moonroof is the $ 900 option for LE and SE models. The $ 625 Comfort Package for LE adds remotely keyless entries with start button and auto-dimming modifiers. The black-painted black roof adds $ 500 to the XSE and includes a rear spoiler and matching rear mirror.
The hybrid model is priced lower than the V-6, but it costs $ 3,250 – $ 4,300 higher than the trim level of just the appropriate gas. You have to determine whether long-term fuel cost savings justify extra spending, but lower emissions and surprising performance also come in. Camry LE Hybrid 2018 starts at $ 28,695, SE Hybrid for $ 30,395, and XLE Hybrid at $ 33,145.
The level of equipment echoes the trim level of gas only, though only an extra standard sized moonroof for LE and SE.
